Operation: Parent Workshop – The Importance of A Family Belief System

12 Feb 2018 - 11:00 am

Operation: Parent workshops are the perfect way to raise your awareness about today’s teen and pre-teen culture.  Each parenting session begins with a video covering an issue unique to raising teens and pre-teens in today’s world, followed by open, parent-to-parent discussion led by a trained facilitator. This month’s session focuses on the importance of a family belief system. An evening session will be held on the same day and at the same location from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

You’ll leave with practical strategies for raising great kids and understand that you’re not alone as you navigate those challenging years.  The sessions will equip parents with the confidence and tools to recognize and prevent problems knowing they have a network of other parents dealing with the same issues and supporting them through the process.

Workshops are free and open to the public and are funded through a grant from Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County.
